Molt Mesh Blend started in Shibuya with a simple idea: grooming appointments should never feel rushed for the animal in the chair.
How we started
Molt Mesh Blend opened its doors in Shibuya over a decade ago after our founder, a former veterinary nurse, noticed how many pets arrived at grooming appointments anxious and overstimulated. We built a studio around slower, calmer sessions instead.

Every groomer at Molt Mesh Blend is certified and trained in fear-free handling techniques. We keep our team small and consistent so your pet always sees a familiar, trusted face.

We never rush a session, we never restrain a pet beyond what is comfortable, and we always share honest notes about your pet's skin, coat and behaviour after every visit.
The Molt Mesh Blend method
We begin with a quiet hello, a coat and skin check, and a few minutes to understand how each pet communicates. The session then follows a clear rhythm: prepare, groom in short stages, pause when needed, and finish with notes you can use at home.
A decade of small improvements
Since opening, we have added sound-dampened bays, dedicated cat appointments, coat-condition records and a wider range of sensitive-skin products. Each change came from listening to owners and watching what helped their pets settle.
