1. Agreement
By booking with Molt Mesh Blend or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you book for another person, you confirm you have authority to accept them on that person’s behalf.
2. Services
We provide dog and cat grooming, bathing, nail and paw care, ear and teeth care, skin treatments, products and membership plans as described at booking. We may adjust a service when safety or welfare requires it.
3. Booking information
Please provide accurate contact details and honest information about your pet’s health, behaviour, coat condition and previous reactions. We may ask for veterinary clearance before treating an active or uncertain condition.
4. Arrival and collection
Please arrive at the agreed time with your pet safely secured. We will contact you when care is complete; pets should be collected promptly so the studio remains calm for other animals.
5. Welfare and refusal
We may pause, shorten or refuse a session if a pet shows distress, aggression, contagious symptoms, breathing difficulty or another safety concern. We will explain the reason and suggest a safer next step where possible.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Japanese yen and may vary with coat condition, size, matting, extra handling time or requested treatments. Payment is due at collection unless a written arrangement says otherwise.
7. Changes and cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to change or cancel. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require a deposit or limit future booking times.
8. Products and packages
Products are intended for their labelled use. Packages and memberships are personal, subject to availability and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.
9. Results and aftercare
Grooming results depend on coat history, condition and the pet’s tolerance on the day. Follow the care notes we provide and seek veterinary advice for medical concerns.
10. Liability
We take reasonable care, use trained staff and maintain clean equipment. To the extent permitted by law, Molt Mesh Blend is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information, undisclosed conditions or events outside our reasonable control.
11. Website use
Website text and artwork belong to Molt Mesh Blend or its licensors. Do not copy, disrupt, reverse engineer or use the website to submit unlawful, harmful or misleading material.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and any dispute that cannot be settled directly with our studio falls under the jurisdiction of the courts covering Shibuya Ward, Tokyo. In practice, almost every disagreement we have handled — a missed appointment, a coat that did not meet expectations, a billing question — has been resolved through a direct conversation, and we ask clients to reach out to us before escalating a concern elsewhere.
13. Severability
If any single provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions stay in effect, and we will interpret or replace the affected clause in a way that preserves the original intent as closely as the law permits. A decision not to enforce a term on one occasion — for instance accommodating a late arrival once as a courtesy — does not prevent us from enforcing it on a later visit.
14. Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to someone else without our written agreement — an appointment booked under your name is not transferable to a different client without notifying us first, particularly where pet-health notes are attached to the booking. We may assign these terms in connection with a change in how the studio is operated, provided the change does not reduce the protections described here.
15. Entire agreement
These terms, together with the current price list shown at booking and our privacy policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Molt Mesh Blend regarding a grooming appointment, and they replace any earlier verbal or written understanding about the same booking.
